Sorry for the delay lately. We have done a lot of projects but the memory card the pictures is on is having some issues and I need to recover them.

It has taken a while to get this post up.  We initially resodded in the last weekend in February.

We received a few quotes to have our sod professionally done, but they both seemed like too much to pay for what we could do it ourselves for.

After much researching, the venture started on a Friday night, by renting a U-Haul pickup truck and immediately heading over to Home Depot.  At the store, we bought compost, a “bagster” (shown later), a wheel barrow and other miscellaneous things.  The big thing we did was rent a sod cutter, the type seen below, $90 for a 1 day rental.

Sorry we haven’t posted much lately.  With the holidays coming up, we have not had the time to blog about our doings.  We will try to get back to this shortly.

So E and I are a bit low lately on material to post.  We have a lot of projects in progress and a few we are just finishing up, so hopefully next weekend will be better, but forgive us for the downtime, we are new at this!

So its been about a month and we still have done nothing here.

This will eventually be a blog where a couple who is fairly newly married, with a new house and a new dog post their projects, feelings and some laughs (pictures included) about their life together.

It is mainly made to send one link to all our family and friends but also to help other couples who are possibly doing the same project.

We hope you keep heading back to this site as soon as there is good content.
